The Little Black Dress –
The little black dress is often credited to Chanel founder, Coco Chanel, dating
back to 1926. The concept was radical at the time since black was considered a colour
for mourning rather than for fashion. Now, the piece has gone on to become a
staple in almost every woman’s closet. A classic sheath dress like the one worn
by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast in Tiffany’s or something more
modern like a ace-adorned dress is the great way to go and can be accessorized
almost endlessly.
I personally
have more than one black dress in my closet. Honestly a black dress can change one’s
life, one it makes you look smaller and all the right places, two it gets you
the right attention you need. Also styling a black dress is not that
complicated but it should not be overdone also.
